Now in its 2nd year , Kells Samhain Festival makes the most of the history of Kells and the way it lends itself to events such as this. Halloween began nearby on the Hill of Tlachtga more than 2,000 years ago.
Last year there was story telling in St. Colmcille's House, follwed by a Mystery and Musical Spirit Pageant through the town with a Samba Band and Fire eaters.
